The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Incentive Award Fund provides financial assistance to students selected to participate in the Incentive Awards Program (IAP) at the University of Maryland, College Park.  The IAP program is designed for exceptional students from Baltimore City, Prince George's County , Montgomery County and Charles County high schools who demonstrate academic ability, uncommon persistence and maturity despite difficult life circumstances.  IAP provides a full four-year scholarship to cover the cost of tuition, fees, room and board.  Incentive Awards scholars receive supportive services from University faculty and staff designed to promote scholarship, leadership and community responsibility.
